About Me
I am a clinical psychologist who has been helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families since 1990. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, ADHD (adult and children), and the after-effects of severe trauma and abuse. In addition, I have experience helping parents learn new parenting techniques to raise children with learning problems, attention problems, or difficulty regulating emotions. As part of my practice, I also complete pre-surgery psychological evaluations for people pursuing bariatric surgery, as well as offer psychotherapy (before or after the surgery) to help people adjust to the changes required. In general, I approach change from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, and work to help people learn new ways to think about themselves and their lives, which, in turn, helps them to achieve their goals.
