About Me
As a psychotherapist, I have been working with various populations for almost 20 years.  I have experience in multiple settings, such as school systems, hospitals, and community mental health clinics.  I have been working in private practice at New Perspectives as an outpatient psychotherapist since 2005.  As a certified clinical social worker, I work well with adults on various topics including anxiety, mood, self-esteem, life transitions/adjustments, relationship dynamics, and loss.  My passion is to help clients understand current means of coping, patterns of behavior/thought, and the management of thoughts, feelings and self-esteem.  I work with clients to address anxiety and mood in an effort to help them confront negative self-talk and achieve a healthier, more positive outlook on themselves and their environments. I hope to increase feelings of empowerment and a sense of daily fulfillment in order to aid in more functional and healthy dynamics with others.  I feel that a strong therapeutic rapport between the client and therapist is essential in promoting change.   Therefore, I take great pride in providing my clients with a comfortable, trusting, and supportive environment.
