About Me
In the past 25 years while in private practice, I have listened to and learned from many life stories, one person or one couple at a time.  Early in my life, I found my life’s work as a counselor.  It has always been exciting and rewarding for me to help others transform their lives, especially those dealing with addictions recovery, marital conflict resolution, or anxiety and depression.

As I see it, the healing process is a collaborative one where we work together to achieve your goals for coming to counseling.  My work has been influenced by the tenants of AA/NA including a spiritual component, reality therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

I like to work with all phases of the marriage life cycle; from pre-marital preparation to a marital tune up; to a marital crisis such as an affair or addiction; or to actual marital dissolution.  Sometimes, marital relationships don’t work out.  In those cases breaking up is very painful and hard to do.  As a domestic mediator, I help people find a totally private, less expensive, timelier, less cumbersome, and more compassionate resolution.

On a personal note, I am happily married for 43 years, have one daughter and two grandsons who are really fun to play with and talk to.
