About Me
Hilary has worked in the counseling field for over 25 years. Hilary also holds a credential awarded by ADEC (Association for Death Education and Counseling) recognizing her knowledge and experience in death, dying, and bereavement. Her counseling practice may incorporate mindfulness, creative expression, nature informed experiences, writing, and bibliotherapy.
Hilary joined New Perspectives in 2020 and continues to work as a grief counselor in a large non-profit hospice. Prior to these experiences, Hilary worked within the special education system helping children from elementary through high school graduation.
Hilary has a compassionate and direct approach as she guides people to gain a deeper understanding of one’s current struggles. In addition to grief therapy, Hilary specializes in anxiety, depression and trauma diagnoses. Hilary is passionate about helping others to feel more confident in managing life and finding a deeper sense of self compassion for themselves.
