About Me

I am passionate about supporting the mental health of others and have done so professionally for over 20 years. Not surprisingly, much of my work has consisted of, or utilized, individual, group, and family therapy. My areas of expertise include but are not limited to working with adolescents, and adults in managing Mood Disorders, Depression, ADHD and Anxiety Disorders. I also specialize in crisis counseling, grief counseling, career counseling and trauma. My clinical approach is focused around utilizing research-based practices with clients, in order to empower their decision-making and assist them in re-framing their thought process. I utilize the expertise and experiences I have acquired to provide clients with opportunities to develop skills which will enable them to manage their mental health and thrive independently. I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution focused therapy when working with clients. My clinical time is currently divided between my work at New Perspectives and serving as Director of Student Support Services in a private school setting. I look forward to supporting you during your therapeutic journey.
